Julie has an extensive range of experience over a wide array of industries and countries. In recent years she has focused on honorary treaurer roles of Associations and Not-for-Profits which have included cleaning up accounts from previous years, bringing accounting and payroll functions back in-house including the hiring and training staff, setting up accounts on new accounting software, setting up detailed monthly reporting, preparing accounting records for audits as well as dealing with salaried staff and DGR funds. During her time in New York as Audit Manager at PWC, Julies main focus was specialising in Offshore Collateralised Debt and Loan Obligation Funds based in the Cayman and Jersey Islands. As audit senior in PWC Johannesburg where Julie did her articles, she worked on an array of audits which included Roche Pharmaceuticals, Genbel Investments, Southern Sun Hotels, Investec and Standard Bank.
Julie is a qualified South African Chartered Accountant, and is a member of the SAICA.
